About Wendy

Wendy is a registered practicing occupational therapist and has more than a decade of experience working with children in community health within a paediatric hospital setting, early intervention, and within schools and kinders. She enjoys working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and has experience working with children diagnosed with autism, developmental delay, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. Her special interests are feeding (picky eating), handwriting, and working with pre-verbal autistic children. Wendy is passionate about supporting parents and children to cope better within their everyday routines, and to be able to use therapy strategies within their home in a meaningful way. She strives to be neuro-affirming in her practice and is keen to continue learning in this area. Wendy graduated with Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with First Class Honours from La Trobe University.

Outside of work, Wendy is a mum to 2 beautiful boys who constantly challenge and motivate her to learn and grow. As a parent, she can relate to common parenting challenges and is passionate about advocating for children and their needs. Wendy enjoys exploring Melbourne with her family and is always on the lookout for kid-friendly spaces and activities to engage her boys in!
